This is a Very Unique Vintage Brooch Pin. It looks just like a Book. The Pin is from CZESTOCHOWA. Which says this at the top of the Pin. The setting is a Goldtone and Burgundy Red Lucite. Inside has the JASNA GORA MONASTERY in Poland. This Little book goes inside the pin. You can keep it inside the brooch or take it out to view the photos. You can also glue it in the Brooch permanently if you like. This is in Very Good condition! Made many years ago. If you look at the side of the Pin. It has a little latch that keeps the Book Brooch Closed. It measures approx. 1 1/2" x 1", and has a C-Clasp closure. There are 14 photos inside the book of the JASNA GORA MONASTERY.

Czestochowa is a city in south Poland on the Warta River with 248,894 inhabitants. It has been situated in the Silesian Voivodeship (administrative division) and was previously the capital of Czestochowa Voivodeship.

The town is known for the famous Paulist monastery of Jasna Góra that is the home of the Black Madonna painting, a shrine of the Virgin Mary.
