   
 
Handmade Wooden Bead Medugorje Peace Rosary. A pretty Tan Color bead. This was purchased in Medugorje, Unused condition. It measures approx. 8 3/4"L, the beads are 10 x 8mm. The Peace Rosary has been a long tradition in Croatia and has been prayed by families for generations. It is said by praying the Creed and then 7 Our Father, Hail Mary, and Glory Be's.
THE HISTORY BEHIND MEDUGORJE:
Međugorje is a town located in western Herzegovina in Bosnia and Herzegovina, southwest of Mostar and close to the border of Croatia. Today the town is best known due to alleged apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary which appeared to six Herzegovinian Croats since June 24, 1981, and is now visited by people from around the entire world as a shrine.
